Allows you to setup and/or change rates associated with cashing a check.

»Displays all rates that have been loaded.
»Add another rate using the New button.
»Delete an existing rate using the Delete button.
»Change the name and/or details of an existing rate using the Edit button.
»A check mark in the far left column indicates the default rate.

 

Add/Edit

 

Allows you to add a new or change the settings of an existing rate.

»Rate Name: this is the name that will appear in Check Cashing Rate drop-down menu when cashing a check.
»Rate Type: chose one of the four (4) options.

Flat Rate: applies the specified flat rate to all checks being cashed no matter their face value.

Percentage: applies the specified percentage rate to all checks being cashed no matter their face value.

Fixed by Amount: applies the specified flat rate based on the face value of the check. Use the three (3) column table to specify those amounts and rates. You must enter the Name and Type and then save the rate before you can add amount details.

Flat Rate + Percentage: applies the specified flat and percentage rate to all checks being cashed no matter their face value.

»Allow Manual Fee Override: allows the fee to be manually overridden when a check is cashed.
»Default Check Cashing Rate: marks this rate as your default. When cashing a check this rate will be automatically applied without having to select a rate. However, you may choose a different rate during the check cashing process.
»Flat Rate: if Flat Rate or Flat Rate + Percentage is chosen, this will be your flat rate.
»Percentage: if Percentage or Flat Rate + Percentage is chosen, this will be your percentage rate.
